Despite four Storm players fouling out, Skyview was within striking distance of a nonleague victory when it cut the deficit to four inside 2 minutes to play.

But free throws was the difference maker. Mark Morris went 25 of 40 at the free-throw line; the Storm went 13 of 16.

“I don’t know how to say it,” first-year Skyview coach Brett Johnson said. “A lot of it was on us. We had close to 20 turnovers.

“They played their hearts out.”

Kazee Park led Skyview with 16 points and Maddie Hendricks posted a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds. She also had four blocks.
