The Storm clamped down on defense to keep their state playoff hopes alive with a 4A bi-district consolation round win in Olympia.

Emily Norton had 11 of her 14 points in the second quarter, when Skyview outscored Kentwood 25-7 to take a 32-13 lead.

Kazz Parks had 15 points, Maddie Hendricks added 10 and Remingtin Riley had eight points and eight assists.

“Remi played the best I’ve seen her play all year,” Skyview coach Brett Johnson said.

Skyview also dominated on the boards. Mikelle Anthony had eight rebounds, Ava Harmon had seven and Hendricks has six.

Skyview (17-6) faces Hazen (15-8) in another loser-out game Thursday at Auburn High.
